The crush cavity is composed of moving jaw and static jaw, it simulate animal’s jaw movement and complete works of material crushing. The electrical motor drives the eccentric shaft via belt connection, the vertical shaft moves up and down, when the vertical shaft moves up, the two scaleboards extend gradually to flat, force the moving jaw pushing to static jaw, the ore materials in the crush cavity broken by extruding, split strength.
When the vertical shaft moves down, the two scaleboards moves back by the strength of spring and pull rod, the discharge outlet increased to output the crushed ore. This shows the jaw crusher is crushing ore discontinuous. By contrast with other continuous crusher, the power consumption of the jaw crusher is larger, and the mechanical efficiency is lower.
